CAN ED HANDLE THE CRISIS IN ZIMBABWE

The president of Zimbabwe, ED Mnangagwa, somehow managed to get the world curious about the future of Zimbabwe after a concatenation of mantras that made him to come out as a likeable humorous individual, with the most attention-grabbing,"THE VOICE OF THE PEOPLE IS THE VOICE OF GOD", which he uttered and was seen on his posters after the masses marched in solidarity to remove his former boss and predecessor R.G Mugabe.

In one interview the former president of Zimbabwe, during his era,is quoted as saying, he was ready to let go of the office but could not find anyone within his ranks fit enough to take on the office of the President.  A lot of Zimbabweans who celebrated the oust of the former president have since regretted and are seemingly understanding the gravity of the statement that was said by R.G Mugabe, with some even saying Bob "as he was popularly known" was better!.
Mnangagwa  has turned out to be even worse after a series of dilemmas hitting the country one after the other, leaving Zimbabweans and the rest of the world shook after removing his pseudo-Godly democrat and comic veil, as he once again slapped Zimbabweans with yet another plague after announcing fuel price hikes by over 120% making it the most expensive in the world. This came a month after the announcement of a 2% tax on e-transactions and payment of already inordinate import duty in foreign currency.

This triggered a pandemonium which saw the country for a week of inactivity which was popular on social media with the #shutdownzim. The big question now is, if the voice of the people is really the voice of God then why has the ED regime turned out to be more brutal and a facade than Mugabes.
Over 12 deaths and 68 plus gunshot injuries were recorded amid protests nationwide during the #shutdownzim week. Does this mean that things have gotten worse for Zimbabwe?
The internet has since been shut down to stop the people from expressing themselves, meaning to say that the times of tyranny have only gotten worse and the misguided president is now only expressing his true colours.

The truth of the matter is ED Mnangagwa is incapable of unfolding the cloud that is covering the country because he is the main source of the problem. Someone said the problem we have is that we have put an intellectual handicap with a blindfold in front of the classroom and that is not even our biggest challenge, he now thinks he is the teacher. During his campaign he was quote  saying "Tichatonga , tichitong , tichingotonga , vanovukura vachingovukura ,vagovukura, meaning i will rule and rule and rule and those who will be barking will keep on barking, to me this is not words that come from the mouth of a leader, ED does not even understand the essence leadership and always expresses his failure by pointing fingers to the largest opposition party everytime anything goes amiss.
